Testimonials

I'm a 57 year young mother of 3 and grandmother of 3. The first time my little
feet hit the ballroom floor was at age 4. It lasted 2 years-I loved dancing, but quit because I didn't like dancing
with boys. My dance journey took me to Miss Dorothy, a Russian ballet DIVA! I studied with her as much as possible
until 1981, and didn't dance again until 3 years ago when I dragged my husband to a studio to take dance lessons for our "empty
nest" years. We haven't stopped since, and can't imagine life without dancing. We're at On Your Toes, where
I'm working with Jeff Nehrbass and preparing for competitions. It is hard work sometimes, but I love it, and its great
for my healrh and well-being. I've met many interesting people through dancing, whether at lessons, or at the dance
parties. If you've never danced-try it! There's room for everyone at all skill levels, and it might change your
life. For me, dance was the path to my soul. Both my husband and I had chronically bad backs until we began dancing,
and found it was better than physical therapy-and a lot more fun. We know we are making memories we will cherish.
Who would have thought that a 4 year old's dream can come true? -Tayler Renee Gregerson.
"Ballroom
dancing has brought tremedous joy to my life, whether it's dancing socially or at exciting and glamourous competitions around
the country. Learning from and dancing with World Champion Jeff Nehrbass has been a genuine pleasure."-Randee Paster.
"I enjoy dancing with EllyMae because her upbeat personality and energy for teaching makes even the clumiest
student (i.e. ME) feel at ease. It makes learning new moves that much less frustrating and more enjoyable." -Troy
Nelson.
